Missionaries serving in isolated communities require the assistance of others so they can live there and focus on their ministries. These teammates perform services such as providing leadership, administration and consultation help.

Gifts to FirstStory Ministries are used in the most strategic way to support the work of missionaries serving indigenous people in Canada.

How You’ll Be Helping

Gifts of any size help ensure strong, effective support for missionaries bringing the gospel to indigenous people in Canada.

Help establish church development in Canada

The appeal in the current donor newsletter of FirstStory Ministries, FirstResponders, is the benefit of working together on a team, and the need for more missionaries to join FirstStory Ministries. Click to view PDF of FirstResponders newsletter (2.5MB).

Previously our donors helped fund several Ministry Opportunity Assessments in the North. The results from those MOAs reveal that the doors are open and the needs are many. Now we need believers with a heart for the Indigenous people in Canada willing to serve on teams to establish thriving churches in Indigenous communities.

With your help we will achieve our goal: a thriving indigenous church—with it's own leaders, sending out it's own missionaries, training it's own members—in every tribe, tongue and nation.

We are currently looking to add to our team of First Responders

—men, women, children, families, small groups or churches—

that commit themselves to be our "first-call"
